Abstract
A thermal therapy needle heated by induction of a high frequency magnetic field comprises an insulation rod, a plurality of iron-containing metal filaments, and a temperature sensor which is disposed in the rod and capable of sensing the temperature of the metal filaments. The metal filaments are at the first end of the rod in a spaced manner and can be driven to irradiate heat by the induction of a high frequency AC magnetic field. With such a thermal therapy needle that has a simple structure is repeatedly reusable for the same patient, the manufacturing costs of the thermal therapy needle can be greatly reduced, and the medical expense for the thermal therapy can be substantially lowered; in addition, using the temperature sensor to sense and feed the temperature of the metal wires back in real time, the temperature of the metal wires used in the thermal therapy can be controlled in a stable manner to greatly reduce the discomfort of patients, which is beneficial for the popularization of the thermal therapy.
