Abstract
Purpose: The study aimed to understand the impact of DDMT teaching strategies on the personal and social responsibilities and learning effectiveness of college students in physical education in the sports education model. Method: A total of 92 students from National Tsinghua University's advanced basketball class were selected by purposive sampling as participants. The class in the last semester was the control group, and the class in the next semester was the experimental group. The experimental group incorporated the DDMT teaching strategy into the sports education model of physical education. The results were as follows: 1. The difference analysis of the students' personal and social responsibility cognition between the experimental group and the control group showed that respect, effort, self-direction, helping others, cooperation, and leadership all reached a significant level. The physical education course that integrated the DDMT teaching strategy into the sports education model had a great impact on students’ personal and social responsibility. There were obvious changes. 2. The difference analysis of the learning efficiency between the experimental group and the control group showed that the cognition, behavior, and emotion of the students' learning efficiency had all reached a significant level, and the physical education course incorporating the DDMT teaching strategy into the sports education model had significantly improved the learning efficiency of the students. Conclusion: 1. DDMT teaching strategies through questioning, thinking, design, innovation, and evaluation improvement, could effectively improve students' control over emotions and know how to respect others; cooperate with others to solve problems together; have self-thoughts, set goals and achieve self-fulfillment; actively help others and lead students to implement the activity. 2. After the DDMT teaching strategy was integrated, it was found that the more feedback information on the cognition, emotion, and behavior of college students learning basketball, the more positive the learning effect obtained.
