Her primary research and teaching interests include children’s perspectives and teachers' pedagogical approaches to English as a foreign language in various contexts, young children’s reading preferences and experiences in kindergartens and infant-toddler centers, parent-child shared reading, and alternative qualitative methods such as children’s drawings and photo-elicitation interviews.
