About Me

   I am Yu-Ju Chou, specializing in child development with a particular focus on young children’s social interactions, emotional development, and executive function. My research examines how early experiences shape children’s regulatory processes, socio-emotional competencies, and developmental trajectories. I approach these topics using behavioral, observational, and developmental neuroscience methods.

   I am committed to advancing scientific understanding of early development while also bridging research and practice. I regularly collaborate with parents, educators, and community partners to translate research findings into developmentally informed practices that support children’s well-being.
